This is what I made in class today. It is 99% silver. We used PMC clay which we rolled out and impressed with leaves (I found a maple leaf for mine). Then we fired them in a kiln. All the binder burns off leaving behind almost pure silver. I chose a maple leaf because it reminded me of the two maple trees my grandmother planted on her front lawn. She was always so proud of those trees. (Maple tree leaves are also my favorite leaf color in the fall.)
